Your mission:
As an Electrical Master Craftsman / Electrical Engineer / Planning Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical integration planning of PV and battery storage projects into existing customer facilities. You will analyze existing electrical infrastructures, develop robust grid connection and modification concepts, and ensure that all technical solutions are implemented in accordance with standards, economically, and with future security. In doing so, you will navigate confidently between technical planning, grid operator communication, project support, and the electrical engineering assessment of complex energy flows.

Your tasks:

• Analysis of existing electrical infrastructure in commercial and industrial facilities
• Evaluation of switchgear, transformer substations, feed-in points, and load profiles
• Development of technical integration concepts for PV systems, battery storage, and further generation units
• Development of conversion and expansion concepts, taking into account technical restrictions. Planning of grid connection solutions in the low, medium, and high voltage ranges.
• Ensuring compliant integration according to:

VDE-AR-N 4105 / 4110 / 4120

• Coordination with grid operators and creation of technical connection documents
• Support of approval and release processes
• Technical support from grid connection application to commissioning
• Support with tenders and technical awards
• Coordination of internal specialist departments and external partners
• Ensuring compliant technical implementation on the construction site
• Creation of grid compatibility analyses
• Short-circuit current calculations
• Load flow analyses for LV/MV/HV
• Evaluation of grid feedback from PV and storage systems
• Development of protection concepts for feeders, storage, and transfer points
• Planning of feed-in management and reactive power control
• Development of Technical Storage Operation Strategies
• Technical Acceptance Inspections
• Creation of test and acceptance protocols
• Documentation of all relevant electrical engineering project documents

What you bring with you:

• Completed degree in electrical engineering / energy technology or further training as a technician / master craftsman with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in planning, renovation, or operation of electrical installations
• Knowledge in the field of low, medium, and ideally high voltage
• Experience with grid connection processes and technical requirements of grid operators
• Safe Handling of Electrical Engineering Standards and Guidelines
• Experience with industrial inventory systems
• Knowledge in the area of battery storage integration
• Understanding of load management, energy management, and flexibility marketing
• Interest in project management and technical development of standards
• Knowledge of network calculation software, ideally DIgSILENT PowerFactory
• Structured, analytical, and independent work style
• Secure Use of Microsoft Office
• Communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
