We're looking for a Project Engineer Manager BESS (m/f/d) to join our team with their technical know-how and coordination skills. Design and simulate BESS systems, including electrical layouts, sizing, and performance modeling
QA: Ensure quality compliance through design reviews, standards adherence, and issue resolution
Document Control and Filing: Organize BESS-related documentation in SharePoint/Drive repositories, ensuring alignment with the master register
Support Procurement with technical specifications, supplier evaluations, and FAT reviews
Commissioning Documentation Support: Collect, review, and compile testing protocols and commissioning plans to align with client requirements
Templates and Tools:  Develop and maintain process tools and templates for calculations, documentation, and testing. Those to support standardization practices
Provide technical training to internal teams and external partners on BESS systems and processes
Training Material Support: Assist in the preparation and organization of training materials for QA awareness sessions
Assist Sales and Project Development: by preparing technical proposals and performance guarantees
Communication and Coordination: Support in drafting emails, reminders, and summaries to ensure timely communication between all relevant stakeholders
Your profile
Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
professional experience required, min 5 to 8 years
Must have: broad technical knowledge of electrical storage and control systems
Experience with energy generation projects / technologies in the utility sector (experience with photovoltaics and energy storage systems would be an advantage)
Must Have: design and simulation of BESS
Nice to Have: basic knowledge of Design Simulation (MatLab, Phyton) to optimize BESS performance
Nice to Have: interest in Development and EPC projects, basic understanding of the German Electricity market and the challenges of grid connection
Your IT skills: Experience in Excel skills; good knowledge of MS Office. Familiarity with design tools like Homer or similar is an advantage
Very good knowledge of German and English
Your skills: communicative team player with very good organizational skills
Willingness to travel internationally 25%
