Electrical Engineer as Project Manager for Power System Studies (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

• Conducting power system studies (load flow, short circuit, dynamic stability studies, EMT, etc.) for transmission and distribution systems
• Supporting consulting projects in the field of medium and high-voltage technology, both nationally and internationally
• Assisting in preparing technical proposals
• Project budget planning and control
• Costing & scheduling
• Conducting negotiations with potential clients
• Preparing, analysing, and evaluating grid code connections and expansion plans

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of eight years professional expertise in the field of power system studies/power system analyses (load flow, short circuit, stability studies, dynamic simulations, harmonics, controller models, protection settings, HVDC simulation), grid expansion planning, EMC calculations, EMT studies, HVDC systems, preparation of master plans, integration of renewable energies
• Fluent in using relevant power system analysis software (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, and/or PSSE)
• Knowledge in Python and other programming languages would be an advantage.
• Project management skills
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
• Experience in the consulting business would be an advantage
• Business fluent in English and confident working in an international environment
• Willingness to travel project based to Germany and other countries
• Philippine national or work permit for the Philippines available
