Your tasks

• Providing professional client advice on electrical engineering for power stations and industrial plants, including grid connection up to the grid connection point
• Leading project teams as a sub-project manager for electrical engineering within the framework of large-scale power station projects
• Supporting project delivery in accordance with internally defined requirements regarding costs, quality, deadlines, compliance, health and safety, environmental protection and information security
• Preparing feasibility studies, tenders, technical specifications and bid evaluations
• Reviewing and approving supplier documents and documentation
• Collaborating with external and internal project partners in Europe and worldwide
• Monitoring the construction and commissioning of electrical power stations or industrial plants

Your profile

• Degree in engineering (university/university of applied sciences/bachelor’s) in electrical engineering, specialising in electrical power engineering
• Several years’ relevant professional experience in the planning and construction of energy plants and thermal power stations
• Several years’ experience in the field of system planning and the design of electrical components
• Experience in drawing up specifications, tenders and cost estimates
• Initial experience in the management of large-scale international projects
• A strong communicator and flexible, intercultural team player
• Very good command of English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally as required by the project (up to 25%
• Valid work permit for Spain

About the department
The focus of the ‘Power Transmission and Distribution’ department is on the planning and optimisation of plants. Significant areas here include high-voltage alternating current and high-voltage direct current transmission at all voltage levels, both via overhead and gas-insulated lines (GIL) and via cables. It also covers substations and switchgear in open-air technology and gas-insulated technology (GIS).

Anforderungen

• Degree in electrical engineering, specialising in electrical power engineering
• Several years’ professional experience in planning and construction of energy plants and thermal power stations
• Several years’ experience in system planning and design of electrical components
• Experience in drawing up specifications, tenders and cost estimates
