Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) - Air to Water Heat Pumps

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Air to Water Heat Pumps, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of our cutting-edge heat pump systems. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative team, contributing to the entire product lifecycle from concept to mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for air to water heat pumps, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Conduct simulations, analyses, and testing to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless product integration.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development and production phases.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements related to heat pump systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design and development of HVAC systems, preferably with a focus on heat pumps.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Experience with product development lifecycle and stage-gate processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
