Your Tasks
Project management and quality assurance of waste management projects (Circular Economy) covering:

• Execution of feasibility studies
• Development of a strategic planning and master plan for waste management based on existing laws:Data collection and evaluation of waste management data of the region or the country to be analyzed; Market studies; Waste analyses: examination of all waste types including hazardous waste
• Due diligence assessment of projects
• Assessment of commercial basis, socio-economic and environmentally relevant issues of waste projects from conceptual design up to implementation (in case of handling of details you will ask for the support of experts if required)
• Tendering for projects, comparison and contract negotiations (all tender types)
• Construction monitoring or organization of construction monitoring in the implementation of projects
• Processing of financing models
• Training of staff
• Proposal support with teaming-up, methodology, time and manning for IFI projects

Your Profile

• M.Sc. / Dipl. Ing. degree in environmental engineering or equivalent studies
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the circular economy or waste sector
• Strong experience in projects with international financing institutions (KfW, GIZ, EBRD, ADB, etc.)
• If possible, you have experience in the following areas: operation of waste management and separation facilities, consulting in the field of waste management, consulting on sustainable resource management and circular economy
• Willingness to travel, work abroad possible (in mutual agreement)
• Languages: English, further languages such as German, Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese, etc. would be advantageous
