Senior Electrical Engineer for Low Voltage and Auxiliary Systems (m/f/x)

Your Tasks
- Responsibility for the LV and auxiliary systems of an Offshore Substation
- Development of specifications for EPC tenders and negotiate these with suppliers
- Review of Contractor’s design documents against applicable codes & standards, Employer’s Requirements and industry practice
- Contribution to the development of offshore platform concept designs and FEED studies
- Coordination of interfaces to other systems such as SCADA and collaboration with other discipline engineers in the package and the on-site team during fabrication and commissioning
- Identification and mitigation of technical risks during construction, installation, commissioning and O&M phases
- Participation in audits and workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, cost optimisations and value engineering
- Ensure compliance with HSE, QA and permitting requirements for the respective systems
Your Profile
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum five years of relevant professional experience from energy infrastructure projects (preferably offshore-related from wind or oil and gas) in low voltage and auxiliary and safety systems such as HVAC, fire alarm and fire fighting, PAGA, cranes, etc.
- Good knowledge of the applicable international codes & standards such as DNV and IEC code families but also NFPA, SOLAS,
- More than 7 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries
- Valid work permit for Spain
