Industrial measurement engineer (m/f/d) – Job ID 2212

The company division for automation robotics realises complex automation solutions - from planning right through to final assembly. In order that we impress with our solutions every time, we are currently offering an exciting position in the field of QA as an industrial measurement engineer.

Our tasks for you

  • You are responsible at our Neunburg plant and on location at the customer site for the precise industrial measurement of systems, jigs & fixtures, tools, special machinery and the associated individual components - depending on requirement to an accuracy of approx. +/– 0.02 mm.
  • For this purpose, you work with our mobile Faro articulated measuring arms, laser trackers, camera systems and tachymeter units - depending on requirement.
  • Your varied tasks also include marking out system network points and calibrating robots (measuring and adjusting jigs & fixtures, grippers, etc.).

Your profile

  • Successfully completed training as a surveyor, surveying technician or general mechanical engineering training form the basis for your entry into our precision 3D measurement engineering team.
  • As a skilled worker or technician with relevant practical experience, you are also well prepared for this role with us.
  • Knowledge of coordinate measuring technology (measuring and setting jigs & fixtures - such as welding equipment, tensioning devices, robot grippers, etc.).
  • You possess good technical understanding, have experience of working with articulated measuring arms and laser trackers, and with the measuring software PolyWorks.
  • Good PC skills.
  • Practical, everyday knowledge of English for communication within our multinational team and with customer companies.
