Your Tasks

• Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing knowhow
• Develop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systems
• Review cable design and manufacturing documents
• Prepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervision
• Backoffice engineering for cable manufacturing process
• Manage the interface to the cable installation
• Identify and report technical risks
• Contribute to the overall optimization of grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farms
• Report to project managers and liaise with colleagues from other work

Your Profile

• Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineering
• Several years of relevant subsea cable engineering experience
• Familiar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documents
• Experience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and/or AC power transmission
• Experience in offshore wind and/or interconnector projects
• Fluency in English (both written and oral)
• Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries
